青山一丁目のポーラ青山ビルに復元・移築された土浦亀城邸を見学に。
建設時期は、さかのぼること90年、特にスキップフロアによる、三次元的な空間構成から生まれる広さ、狭さの感覚や室同士のつながり（玄関－リビング―ダイニング 上階の寝室）は、時を経ても居心地が良いと感じられるものでした。また階段の段鼻や各出隅は丁寧に面を取られており、職人の丁寧な手仕事に裏付けられた建物であることが同時に伺えました。
移築の過程も丁寧に説明いただき、文化財の移築保存（当時の状況の再現）の根気のいるお仕事とその魅力についても垣間見ることができたように思います。
Visited the Tsuchiura Kameki House (Restoration and Relocation) at the Pola Aoyama Building.
The building dates back 90 years.
Particularly, the skip-floor design created a three-dimensional interplay of spaciousness and intimacy, including ceiling heights and the flow between rooms (entrance-living-dining area, upstairs bedrooms) – a comfort that resonates even today. The stair risers and each corner were carefully chamfered, revealing the building's foundation in the craftsman's meticulous handiwork.
The relocation process was also carefully explained, offering a glimpse into the painstaking work and appeal of relocating and preserving cultural properties (recreating the conditions of the time).
